UNC Rural and UNC Research Award 6 Collaborations Serving 29 Rural Counties

Co-offered by UNC Rural and UNC Research, the Rural Research, Engagement and Advancement Fund (RREAF) supports several strategic initiatives described in Carolina Next. RREAF promotes community-campus partnerships based in rural North Carolina supporting a wide range of engagement endeavors. From a competitive selection process, 6 collaborations serving 29 rural counties have been selected to receive up to $15,000 each. UNC Rural Co-Director Giselle Corbie made the announcement at the Carolina Engagement Week Reception on Friday, March 1 with Interim Chancellor Roberts in attendance.
